Managed Hosting means that we take regular site and database backups, so that the site can be restored should the worst happen! It's not just WordPress that will need updating; plugins and themes need keeping up to date too. A well maintained, up to date site is less vulnerable to hackers. No system is completely secure - but good quality hosting, core updates and maintenance is essential to reduce the risk.
When we host your site it means that you can take advantage of our licenses for the plugins we use, like Beaver Builder, Ultimate Addons, Duplicator Pro, SeoPress Pro etc, and the themes we use like Beaver Builder or WP Astra Pro. Worth approximately £260.
Self Hosting
If you decide to host the site yourself, that's fine. We will provide the site files and database. Be aware that you will need to keep the site maintained and purchase your own licenses for the plugins and themes that we use. You will also need to purchase an SSL Certificate via your own hosting company.
Domain Name Management Service
For a small fee we can manage your domain name for you or you can do it yourself if you prefer.
We're not an email hosting company so we don't offer support for email hosting or other services relating to emails. You may already have professional email hosting and you might even manage that hosting in house. If you don't we can point you in the direction of Gmail.
